Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Receive material and complete all company paperwork as required
  • Prepare equipment and vehicles for deliveries or pick up
  • Maintain an inventory list of all materials, tools and parts
  • Communicate with other departments as needed
  • Move trailers and equipment around the yard and to other locations
  • Back up a truck and trailer and fuel equipment as needed
  • Manipulate heavy equipment in a restricted area
  • Perform Health & Safety inspection of equipment and tools
  • Adhere to Health & Safety Rules on the jobsite
  • Follow equipment maintenance schedules and advise if repairs are required
  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
  • Inspect vehicles to the standard requirements for safety
  • Light repair work-including MIG welding, installing hitches, wiring on trailers, etc.
  • Maintain legible and accurate paperwork
  • Clean and maintain the work environment
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed and requested by management/sales team
Education RequirementSecondary School Diploma Experience Requirement

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid 310-S with 310-T, or 310-S with 310-J
  • Own vehicle and G license
  • English proficiency
  • Grade 12 equivalency
  • 2 years of work experience in a shop or farm environment
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
  • Good physical endurance. (Ability to lift up to 75-100lbs)
  • Willingness to participate in in-house training
  • Ability to operate all auto repair tools
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Team player

Strong Assets:

  • Able to work 40-44 hours a week and overtime as needed
  • Experience in the field of mechanics
  • Experience operating various types of equipment
Salary Details

Negotiable based on experience.
