Volunteer Roles - WRRC


Position Description

We appreciate the gift of time, energy and talent our volunteers bring to Women's Rural Resource Centre (WRRC).  Volunteers are vital to our program success - these are some of the ways volunteers can be involved:

  • Welcome Desk Volunteer - office administration and reception
  • Driver - driving women and/or children to appointments
  • Childcare - providing childcare so moms can attend appointments or have respite
  • Grocery - pick up groceries for the shelter
  • Processing donations - coordinating our community cupboard
  • Fundraising committees and special events
  • Community Garden support
  • Public Education
